The release date for Prince Harry’s memoir, which was originally set for this year, has been moved up to January 10, 2023. The book by the Duke of Sussex, titled “SPARE,” seems to make reference to the expression “heir and a spare”—a jab at the royal family.
The publishers have stated that the book will contain information about Princess Diana’s funeral. “SPARE takes readers immediately back to one of the most searing images of the twentieth century: two young boys, two princes, walking behind their mother’s coffin as the world watched in sorrow-and horror.” They said.
“Prince Harry has gotten cold feet about the memoir’s contents at various points. The project has been shrouded in rumors, delays and secrecy,” According to a report from the New York Time.
According to sources, Prince Harry is believed to have added more chapters regarding the passing of his grandmother as a result of the delay. The book is anticipated to contain information about his upbringing, life as a working royal, time in the military, marriage to Meghan, and parenthood experience.
