According to the Express Tribune, National Speaker Pervaiz Ashraf acknowledged the lawmaker’s death by postponing the House session to celebrate the event. Due to his death, the house has been adjourned till 5 p.m. tomorrow.

The corpse of the deceased would be brought to Jinnah Hospital or Civil Hospital for a post-mortem examination before being returned to the deceased’s immediate relatives, according to police.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, former President Asif Ali Zardari, PPP Chairperson and Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, and former Governor of Sindh Imran Ismail all expressed their condolences. They prayed for the late lawmaker’s soul.
