Early on Friday, an Israeli attack near Damascus left three Syrian soldiers dead and seven others injured, according to the Syrian defence ministry.
The statement from the ministry said that From the direction of the occupied Syrian Golan, the Israeli enemy launched an airstrike. Three troops were killed and seven others were injured in the attack.
According to the war monitor Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, 10 people have been injured overall and three more people have died.
The monitor, which depends on a vast network of sources within Syria, claimed that the strikes hit a car close to the Mezzeh military airport as well as an air force intelligence unit and a high-ranking officer's office.
Israel has launched hundreds of airstrikes against its neighbour since civil war broke out in Syria in 2011, targeting government forces as well as partner forces supported by Iran and Hezbollah fighters.
