Rickey Kej, a Bengaluru based artist won his second Grammy on April 4th at the 64th Academy awards.
The artist shared the grammy with Stewart Copeland. Their Album ‘Divine Tides’ got nominated in the ‘Best Album Category’.
Divine Tides which consists of nine songs and eight music videos triumphed in the Best Album category making Rickey Kej's second Grammy win and Copeland’s Sixth. As informed by Rickey in his acceptance speech, the album is a work of Lahari Music.
“In India, we have a phrase called ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’, which means the ‘world is one family’. We must think of living in peace not just within human beings but also with all entities of nature such as land, water, and animals,”- said Rickey Kej in his acceptance speech.
Rickey Kej won his first Grammy in 2015 for Winds of Samsara in the Best New Age Album category.
