The deployment of nuclear weapons in Ukraine would alter the essence of the fight, and the British government told Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday.
James Cleverly, the foreign secretary, also asked Russia not to obstruct food deliveries and said that the Kremlin was making "increasingly desperate pronouncements" to divert attention away from its losing military effort.
"No other nation is discussing the use of nuclear power. No nation is posing a danger to Russia or President Putin, "smartly informed legislators.
"He should make it very clear that any deployment of nuclear weapons would alter the essence of the battle for the UK and our Allies. Russia would suffer serious repercussions."
British naval soldiers blew up the Nord Stream gas pipelines last month, according to the Russian defense ministry's statement on Saturday.
Additionally, the Russian ministry said that on Saturday, "British professionals" from the same unit led Ukrainian drone assaults against Russian Black Sea Fleet ships in Crimea.
Cleverly avoided making a clear allusion to such remarks. He said: "Now the Kremlin is turning to selling bogus accusations, churning out manufactured tales that tell more about the cracks inside Russia's administration than they do about us," without going into further detail.
